Description
The door catch is a fitting to keep a closed door at a normal position and not to naturally open due to a wind pressure.
Basically a magnet and a steel plate. One attaches to the door, and the other to the door frame. When the door is closed the magnet and steel contact holding it close. By pulling on the door, you overcome the strength of the magnet, allowing the door to open.
