Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations within the wholesale and retail sector, specifically focusing on boards and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, a deep understanding of the industry, and the ability to drive technological innovation to support business growth and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to employees, addressing issues promptly and efficiently.
• Generate regular reports on IT performance and key metrics for presentation to senior management.
• The responsibility of monitoring and closure of help desk queries.
• Oversee the maintenance, expansion, and optimization of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware.
• Collaborate with technology vendors and third-party service providers to ensure seamless operations and cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business goals and objectives for the boards and accessories sector.
• Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Ensure the security of customer data, financial transactions, and sensitive information through robust cybersecurity measures.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to data security, privacy, and technology.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime.
• Stay updated on emerging technology trends and evaluate their potential application in improving business processes and customer experience
• Develop and manage the IT budget, monitoring expenses and providing cost-effective solutions

• Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.
• Proven experience in managing a team and leading IT initiatives.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education and Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in IT management.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• Min 3-5 years related experience in the IT Support position
• Experience in window server
• Good communication skills
• Must have a valid Driver's License and be willing to travel
• Must reside in the Vaal Triangle area
